By accessing or using the SocialScheduler application operated by Holdfast ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

SocialScheduler is a social media management tool that allows you to create, schedule, and publish content to multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. The service is provided through a web application accessible at holdfast.band.

3. Account Registration

To use our service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Connected Social Media Accounts

Our service allows you to connect your social media accounts to enable publishing. By connecting your accounts, you:

  • Authorize us to access your accounts via official platform APIs to publish content on your behalf
  • Confirm that you have the authority to connect and use those accounts
  • Acknowledge that your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective terms of service
  • Can disconnect any platform at any time through the Settings page

We store OAuth tokens securely and use them only to perform the actions you request.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload through our service. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (scheduling and publishing to your connected platforms).

You are responsible for ensuring that your content:

  • Does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Complies with the terms of service of the platforms you publish to
  • Does not contain harmful, abusive, or objectionable material

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited content
  • Violate the terms of service of any connected social media platform
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our service

7. Third-Party Platforms

Our service integrates with third-party platforms including Meta (Instagram and Facebook), Google (YouTube), and TikTok. Your use of these platforms through our service is subject to their respective terms of service and policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of these third-party services.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features with or without notice
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
  • Experience downtime due to factors beyond our control

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Holdfast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Failed or delayed posts to social media platforms
  • Loss of content or data
  • Unauthorized access to your connected accounts
  • Actions taken by third-party platforms regarding your content

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the service will be revoked
  • Your stored content and data will be deleted
  • Connected social media tokens will be invalidated

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
